AKG Bhavan breaks away from the traditional typology of party offices, reimagining it as a fluid, community-centered public space. At its core, the design emphasizes openness, accessibility, and engagement, with spaces seamlessly flowing into one another, free from rigid thresholds.

This innovative approach fosters inclusivity while challenging the exclusivity typically associated with such buildings.

The 10 cents site is situated in Westhill, calicut, off the main national highway, a 100 m road straight heading to the site. The intend was to craft spaces out of the site and make the structure just a shelter and redefine what a building can be.

The entry, which is defined by an open threshold welcomes one to the history Musuem & gathering spaces which seamlessly flow to the interior space and then the open library and dining, with garden sitting on the other side .

The volume, framed out of a grid form, is a play of solids and voids, creating double height interaction spaces and terrace gardens making the entire building breathing and interactive.
